Dear Parents,

I hope you all had a wonderful Winter Break and enjoyed spending time
with family and friends. Now that the commotion of the holiday season
has calmed down a bit and the weather is keeping the kids indoors more
it is a great time for extra math practice.

The fourth graders will be moving into fractions by the end of the month
and fact fluency is a critical part of understanding and grasping fractions.
Please encourage your child to practice their multiplication and division
facts over the next couple of weeks so they are ready for our fraction unit.
